After today’s win by the Calsonic IMPUL GT-R made it even more difficult for any team to overtake Nismo in the SuperGT 2008 drivers championship ladder, Satoshi Motoyama and Benoit Treluyer have taken victory!

An amazing win of the Nissan GT500 GT-R’s SuperGT debut season by the premier team from Nismo, four points ahead of the nearest rival. Tsugio Matsuda of the Calsonic IMPUL GT-R team finished the drivers championship in fourth.

Unfortunately for Nismo they were unable to have the amazing finish of the season they needed to get their team points up and they finished third in the team championships behind the Toyota teams of Petronas Tom’s and Cerumo.

Congratulations to #23 team and looking forward to seeing more developments in what Nismo has for 2009…
