Nissan are slated to go for the US certified HP tests soon and have made it known that they intend to achieve 480 SAE hp. When directly converted the Japanese model’s 480ps converts to just 473 SAE hp so where they are going to make up the extra 7 HP is not yet known. The Porsche turbo output is the same as the Japanese GTR at 473 SAE HP.

The GTR goes on sale in the US in June 08 priced from just $69,850 USD and up versus the 997 turbo’s price tag for $122,000 USD and up.
