Tokachi 24hr Nismo R35 GT-R at Sendai Highland Raceway

July 6, 2008

Nismo were testing their R35 GT-R which is in development for the Tokachi 24hr race at Sendai Highland raceway today. This photo was snapped of the car and what a car it is!

Clearly you can see there’s been a bit of work going on at Omori Factory. The front lip and front bar are modified with ducting. The lip itself is most likely carbon fiber also. The front GT-R badge has been cut away and replaced with a self adhesive one to improve airflow to the radiator. Bonnet pins hold down the carbon fiber bonnet while the whole car – including carbon bits got a coat of bright red paint.

The Rays 20″ wheels have been painted black and now sport logos. Too small to read but overall they are very much special edition TE37s.

Some more photos should be coming soon and we’ll keep you updated.
