Tommy Kaira has quietly launched their latest performance product, a set of upgraded throttle bodies for the Nissan GT-R. The Tommy Kaira units offer upgraded airflow by improving the OEM throttle bodies in several ways.

Firstly they have honed and polished the throttle body interior. The net result is a 1.5mm enlarged opening with a smooth surface to reduce turbulence around the interior.

Secondly they’ve redesigned the butterfly from scratch. This titanium replacement butterfly reduces the need for the clunky OEM pivot so air flows more smoothly again through the throttle.

All up Tommy Kaira claim more than 20% improved airflow through these with of course improvements to engine response that come along with it.

Pricing begins around the 117,600 yen mark per set provided you send your OEM throttles in. Without the exchange, expect to part with 243,600 yen for a set.
