SuperGT: Round 8 – Kyushu 300km This Weekend
October 15, 2008
It’s been another long break in between rounds of the Japanese SuperGT series for 2008. In between round 7 and now we’ve even seen a few spy pics of the 2009 GT500 cars being tested.
This weekend we’re set to head to Kyushu for the Kyushu 300km race at Autopolis circuit just outside Kamitsue village. The race is 65 laps around the 4.7km circuit with the NSX being the favorite marque followed by the GT-Rs. Historically the SC430s don’t do so well at Autopolis.
Practice begins Friday as usual and qualifying Saturday with the main race beginning Sunday at 2pm JST. We’ll have photo updates as we get them.
