Rays Volk Racing VR.G2 Wheels Black vs. Black
You probably figured out by now that I really do love these wheels, but when GTMotoring posted these photos I had to do a double take. I knew they were good but this is beyond good and I think I know finally what GT-R / wheel colour combination looks best. These.

Rays Volk Racing VR.G2 Wheels in GT-R Sizes Shipping Now
The awaited Nissan GT-R offset Volk Racing G2 are shipping now so you can finally get your hands on some if these look like they might be your style. These lightweight forged aluminium wheels, originally named after the legendary TE37, debuted at SEMA 2008 in the US and Tokyo AutoSalon 2009 in Japan and first appeared on the Mine’s GT-R. Since then they’ve been tweaked to look more aggressive on the GT-R and the tweaks are all for the better in my opinion.
The sizes seen here are 20x10J +30mm front and 20x11J +15mm rear. The same as those found as an option on the Zele Performance Complete Edition. Pickup a set through your favourite Rays Volk Racing wheels dealer.

Volk Racing TE37 G2 Zele Edition Black, New GT-R Offset
First seen at SEMA in the US, Volk has recently released a new addition to their wheel lineup. The Volk Racing G2 or TE37 G2. Following this they have now added a new offset to the lineup to debut at Tokyo AutoSalon 2009. The new GT-R fitment changes the front to 20″x10″ +30mm offset while the rear moves to a 20″x11″ +25mm offset.
Zele International have a set of these for demoing at Tokyo AutoSalon in the flat black colour that everyone seemed to love at SEMA. We snapped a few shots of them while recently on site at Zele for a pre-TAS visit.
Rays Wheels will have quite a substantial sized booth at Tokyo AutoSalon as usual. They’re located in Hall 1 this year so stop by to check these out in the flesh.

Rays Put New Face on Volk TE37 – TE37 Generation 2
Rays venerable Volk TE37, the premier racing wheel used in everything from rally to SuperGT from tough Skyline GT-Rs to street Honda Vitz, is getting a facelift in 2008 with the release of the TE37 G2 series of wheels. Due out shortly from Rays Volk these forged aluminium monoblock construction wheels will be available in a range of colours and sizes up to 20″.
The wheels made their international public debut on the Mine’s Nissan GT-R at SEMA recently where these photos were taken but word has been getting around under covers for a while now.
We have seen a TE37 like wheel on the GT-R before in the guise of the Nismo Clubsport, Tokachi Endurance GT-R and Nissan Spec-V wheel but official nomenclature had not been confirmed and the look left a lot to desire in some critics eyes. These wheels suit the new GT-R’s offset a lot more but is it blasphemy to use the iconic TE37 name on this newcomer?
To be honest I love the look of them on the Mine’s car.
