With the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show right around the corner, Japanese car mags are speculating on the final look of the 2011 Nissan GT-R SpecM. The so called “GentleMen Spec” Nissan GT-R is expected to debut at the troubled bi-annual motor show where the first GT-R production model debuted in 2007.

In the November issue of Japanese Car Top Magazine (CARトップ). on sale this week, we learn that a fully optioned SpecM will eclipse the 18 million yen mark headed into 20 million yen (220k USD) territory. That would include the full SpecV++ treatment including hand stitched interior. Optional dry carbon parts are said to extend even further beyond what was seen from Nissan so far, and could include a full trunk lid replacement.

Color options are also sure to grow with a dark red rendered as well as a metallic yellow on the magazine’s cover. Other rumours including the December 2009 orders/first deliveries seem to be confirmed. We’ll know more once we get our hands on the magazine itself.

As a Porschephile I do lol

But seriously, there is a market for this car at least in Japan.

Japan has made a car that will stretch legs with the best of them and people have pride for the cars that their country produces and will have no qualms handing over 200k for a unique bespoke GTR.

I just paid over 40k for a 10k mile maintenance, but I drive a Prius daily lol-

As a Porschephile you should be used to it. Seriously how many times have they gone back to milk the 911 cash cow. S, 4S, Cabriolet, Turbo, GT2, GT3, blah blah blah.

    here here Kris…

But I have to agree about there being one too many GT-R models.
A “softer” luxury GT-R model is like Charles Bronson agreeing to do a feminine hygiene commercial. If you can’t handle the harsh ride of a SpecV… do as a certain Porschephile does and GO BUY A PRIUS!!!
The GT-R is about the ultimate driving experience… If the cost of that is between $1-200,000 and having a sore arse after 50 of the greatest laps of your life; ID PAY IT GLADLY!!!! (….if I had the cash! LOL)

they should just make 3 versions of the R35 one stock with options like soft suspension and what we have right now, maybe a few others… not everyone likes such a bumpy noisy ride, but they like the car alot.

2 spec-v unique and limited like the spec-v is… but it is lacking inside, needs the leather like they want the spec-m to have.

3 supercar gt-r. built trans, extra cooling for 20 laps non stop and more power.

    f everything else.
