[...] Last year, when the Nissan GT-R stopped by Tire Rack’s One Lap of America, it finished 11th in its class. That may seem lackluster, but considering the Nissan was bone stock and going toe-to-toe with some wild variations on cars like the Porsche 911 and the Corvette Z06, the car did fairly well. It looks like Freedom Autosport and Switzer are out to take the gold this year with a fully custom Godzilla. The car’s rocking over 700 ponies at all four corners, even lighter body work massive brakes and suspension components from heavy hitters in the GT-R tuning realm. As always, each car only gets one set of tires for all 3,200 miles of racing and travelling in a week. How will the Nissan due? We’ll find out soon. [Source: GT-RBlog] [...]
