Update: More Nissan GT-R FIA GT1 Spec Spy Photos
More spy photos of the Nissan R35 GT-R FIA GT1 Spec car have been obtained by us here at GTRBlog. These come from AutoSport Magazine from Japan and look to have also been snapped at Fuji Speedway.
Not much more information except that AutoSport are extremely confident this is a V8 powered car, similar to the engine used in the SuperGT GT500 cars.
More photos after the jump…

Some people were thinking this is suppose to be a GT2, but confirmed official this is GT1 for 100% sure!
I think it’s not a real GTR. It’s just a race car
with a logo.

As a GT1 spec car, a lot of parts have to be changed…I wonder how much can stay except the exterior.
And “乱马” as my friend, saying :”He couldn’t agree more with Kris, the blogger.”
Thanks for the imediatly information!
As a GT1 it will retain the chassis and heads of the production car so you cant really change the number of cylinders
and there are maximum changes to the exterior dimesions though it will probably be full carbon fibre body ofc.
So it is a real GTR. It’s a balls out full on racecar!
if aston and corvette can run gt1 with 6-7Liter N/A engines, the gtr can run with his 3.8L TT
wow I wish this would be the shape of the v-spec. the ultimite gozilla!
Welcome back, Nissan. This is where you belong.
I always love NISSAN SKYLINE series. My favourite car R34 and R35 now but R35 is different for me.It smokes ferrari, lamborghini, chevrolet corvette, porsche even bugatti veyron(on the nürburgring of course)
THE LEGEND IS REAL
NISSAN
Fist of all i love ur website. I think the nissan GTR is one of the best cars. anyway i thought the GTR (R35) is a v6 not v8 (a 3.8litre v6). If someone could please clarify, is this a different engine, i dont quite understand. Thanks
