WALD Sportsline GT-R Development – Part 1 – Rear Spoiler

September 3rd, 2008

The WALD Sportsline GT-R development has begun and so far the rear spoiler is modelled and the prototype is finished off in what else but dry carbon.

This spoiler is in two sections, a upper wing which wraps around the stock element and a second lip spoiler for the trunk lid.

Check out the development photos after the jump…

How long did Nissan spend in the wind tunnel? Was it 2 years or 2000 hours?

That DOESNT mean the design cant be improved. Nissan made a design for several differnt ways of driving. if a driver decides he wants more downforce, they will have to modify the car. which btw, the car on the racetrack does need more downforce as many tuners are finding out first hand.

This particular tuner in my opinion isnt interested in any testing what so ever. They want to make a certain LOOK.

Its not rice, but its an aquired taste.
