Another Sad Day – GT-R Repairs Too Costly?

July 15th, 2008

This GT-R sits in a yard waiting for repairs after having a decent front ender in Japan. Estimate for repairing this with new parts from Nissan is 5,000,000 yen. Yes $50k in damage doesn’t look like much but it apparantly there is more damage than it looks.

Sorry about the quality of the phone camera pic but it’s all we were sent.

That’s what happens when ppl buy such well reviewed cars and they expect them to do everything for them and they trash it.

This is a structurally advanced car using exotic materials to achieve the best driving dynamics in the class; part of that is the use of carbon fiber for enhanced weight distribution, which is pretty expensive and exotic in nature. It’s no surprise that this would be an expensive car to repair.

    gtrhater,

your probably still driving your mother’s hyundai excel. I be you’ve never had a real car.

Nothing wrong buying a car, that you cant afford, and do what they want.

You don’t have the foggiest idea what happened to the car. So take your random comments and put them on a keyboard warrior forum.

Besides all that, feel sad for the owner.

    Peace

random don’t be so sensitive to truth. If you can’t handle it then don’t cry about it on here. I’m tired of repeating myself. I drive a C6 Z06.
