June 21st, 2008

The Haltech Nissan GT-R was videod on the dyno today at Sydney Autosalon 2008 which runs Satuday and Sunday 21st and 22nd of June. With no modifications to the car except the Haltech ECU the car made 490 hp at all four wheels. Decent power and enough to run an 11.1 @ 124 mph as they have shown recently.

totally agree with you there gtr.. looks like they dropped the clutch..the dyno sure spiked..that’s for sure not the proper way to do things…11.1 run at124mph..with 490hp!?!..geez the stock car can manage that on a good day…

Haltech again leading the way. Live it up boys, you deserve it.

gtrhater: There are plenty of links to various websites (including youtube) where you can see the Haltech GTR run 11.1@124mph. But going by your nick, why are you even on this site?

hmmm:In Australia we do it the hard way. For comparison, stock R35 GTR dynoed over her sees around 400hp at the wheels. In the US and UK, you’re looking around 415hp.

While youre reading, Explain to everyone how an R35 gtr can drop the clutch when they only have 2 pedals on the floor (I know you are intelligent, but in case you didn’t know, the GTR has a launch control system). While I am at it, point me in the direction of a stock R35 GTR that can manage an 11.1 on a good day.

By the sounds of things, I know a stock GTR (with some ecu tweeks) that will run a 10 second pass (but that is only on a good day of course).
